AUGUST 7, 2010 - Dennis Little, President of Stephens Little Inc., attended the AAFA conference in Raleigh-Durham where AAFA members voted on the selection of additional member offices in San Diego, Washington D.C. and Raleigh-Durham. Included in the 3 day meeting were a wide range of topics including how to grow the business in the current economy.
JULY 2010 - Stephens Little Inc., through its affiliation with AAFA, has entered into a formal partnership with Becker Professional Education. As a result, Stephens Little will be able to provide discounted rates on the Becker CPA Exam Review and CPE courses to both our clients and candidates.
04/10/2010 - Jan Finley, Director, Administrative/Clerical Division and Dennis Little, President and CEO, participated on a panel addressing employment issues for the JOB Networking Group at the Custer Road United Methodist Church in Plano. The panel addressed specific employment questions and shared their perspective on the employment climate, locally and nationally. In association with their specific areas of expertise, panel members visited one on one with attendees regarding their job search.
04/16/2009 - Dennis Little partnered with the outsourcing firm Optimance in a presentation to the Ernst & YoungExecutive Networking Group. In the presentation, titled “Guerrilla Marketing & the Search Consultant”, topics included: how to market yourself; ways to reach out to companies; interview strategy; and tips on how to be successful in today’s job market.
10/06/08- In order to expand our reach of services currently offered, Janice Philpott joined Stephens Little to manage and develop the Human Resources/Sales & Marketing Group. Janice's qualifications include 4 years as a senior search consultant conducting managerial level searches in the human resources, sales and marketing, and accounting disciplines. She previously held human resource management positions with Bombardier Aerospace and Southwest Airlines.
09/02/08 - Stephens Little Inc. was invited by the Baylor College of Dentistry to address their 2008 graduating class. Dennis Little, President & CEO, spoke on creative cover letter preparation and resume writing techniques along with suggestions on how to effectively represent themselves to prospective practices.
07/02/08 - Due to extensive experience in the Accounting/Finance arena, both hands on and from a recruiting aspect, Dennis Little, President & CEO of Stephens Little Inc., spoke to the Investment Management MBA class at the University of Texas at Dallas. Topics included the state of the financial employment market and how to market one’s self with an MBA.
