Contract services provided by Stephens Little are the ideal solution for companies experiencing frequent fluctuation in the need for technical resources. As projects begin to ramp up, Stephens Little is there to supplement the necessary technical resources to complete the job. Once the contract is started, Stephens Little handles all human resource functions, including payroll generation and distribution, payroll tax withholding, and state and federal reporting requirements. As projects are completed, Stephens Little handles the discontinuation of existing contracts.

Contract-to-Hire
Contract-to-Hire is very similar to contract services with the exception that it is normally the intention of the company to hire the Stephens Little consultant at some point in the future. Contract-to-Hire gives the company the ability to monitor the work performance of a consultant prior to making a formal offer of employment.

How does this work? Stephens Little works with you to determine an hourly bill rate for the contract period, the date the consultant will be converted to a regular employee of the company, a minimum number of hours the consultant must work for Stephens Little prior to conversion, and/or a conversion fee which is payable to Stephens Little once the consultant is converted to employee status with the company.
