Reporting to the Manager IT, our client is seeking an experienced, highly qualified and capable full time Sr. SalesForce.com Administrator and Developer. As a key member of the IT organization, this role will be responsible and accountable for providing effective and efficient technical, functional and reporting support for Salesforce to all the company stakeholder groups including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Engineering and IT. This high profile position will also play a central role in developing the Salesforce roadmap and ensuring the platform fully meets on going business and operational requirements. Scope of Role / Accountabilities (includes but is not limited to) SFDC: Development, administration, maintenance, documentation, end user support Platform integration Solutioning / architecture Roadmap planning / development Requirements gathering (as required) Business analysis (as required) Project management (as required) Business intelligence and reporting Report specification, documentation, development, maintenance Problem analysis / resolution of root cause issues Customization support and documentation Data import, data export Responsibilities: Provide overall effective development, administration, support, and best practice IT management of SalesForce platform and associated reporting Ensure effective and accurate tracking and logging of Sales-force support and related report issues Act as tiered support for high-severity and business impacting Salesforce.com related issues Maintain regular and consistent strategic engagement with business user groups. Ensure Salesforce architecture supports Avigilon growth to over $1B+ Ensure work is properly documented including all key customizations and report specifications Build middleware solutions for integration of complex business applications with SalesForce. Implementation of required functionality and (approved) customizations Ensure proper controls are in place in the areas of security, access, separation of duties, design and release standards. Provide technical and functional support to SalesForce end users (on-site and remote) Lead and facilitate requirements gathering and UAT sessions with business unit stakeholders (as required) Ensure Salesforce.com supports organizational business requirements; Ensure proactive planning to effectively support growth, continuous improvement, business goals and objectives Ensure effective Saleforce.com support models are in place Ensure IT incident response and management protocols are effectively and consistently followed Ensure high quality on time completion of all projects, support services and verbal commitments; Provide effective oral and written project status updates and presentations Lead by example and ensure required performance within the Salefroce.com area Support and follow standardized project management processes and drive best practice in implementations Provide consistent timely and accurate updates of project performance and delivery Provide technical and architectural guidance to align Salesforce.com solutions to business requirements; Lead assessments and identification of Salesforce.com solutions Coordinate with IT leadership to ensure work priorities align with governance, business and IT priorities Make effective proactive value add recommendations followed up by action leading to positive concrete results contributing to business and IT success Proactively update IT management in terms accomplishments, current workload, issues and roadblocks Design, create and manage data imports and exports; Support the creation and migration of new acquisitions onto the SalesForce platform Maintain the Saleforce.com application and project roadmap in coordination with IT leadership / IT PMO Skill and Qualifications: Degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related field 7+ years of IT related experience; 5+ years Salesforce.com administration, declarative configuration, and development experience including sales / service / marketing clouds, partner portal, knowledge, content 5+ years experience working with web based technologies 3+ years development experience with Visual Force, Java-script, Apex controllers, Triggers, Batch jobs & standard SFDC components 3+ years experience with SFDC Object design, SOQL & SOSL Certified Salesforce.com administrator Certified Salesforce.com developer Strong technical and business acumen Detailed understanding and experience with Salesforce.com architecture and API Advanced understanding of Salesforce.com data model including when / how to create custom objects vs. use out-of-the-box functionality Experience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications via real-time, batch, sync / async, data import / export procedures or common ETL methodologies Experience with scripted data loader, web services, cloud or on-premise middleware and other enterprise integrating technologies Senior level understanding of information systems and their use in complex organizations Experience in a manufacturing environment would be an asset Some travel will be required Technical Skills: Visual Force, Java-Script, XML, Apex Controllers, Triggers, Batch Job, Web Apps Development (Java, HTML, ASP.NET, C#), SOQL and SOSL, Eloqa, Jitterbit Dataloader, JIRA, SAML Single Sign on (via SalesForce), cloud technology integration
